When, as a lucky eight year old, I left my first ski holiday I knew that skiing and the mountains would become a passion for life. In my opinion there is no better feeling than walking out across squeaky snow; breathing in a lungful of fresh, cold, mountain air; putting on a pair of skis and then sliding off into a snow filled mountain paradise.
It’s taken a life of several careers before now being a ski instructor in the beautiful resort of Zermatt. That journey working in both training and development and as a school teacher though now provides me with a wealth of experience I draw upon.

Beyond the snow, I enjoy travelling. Mostly I am an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying trail running, swimming in the sea, and hiking. I believe that spending time in nature fosters a deep appreciation for the world around us and promotes a sense of well-being, which plays a huge part in our mental health.
I would find another way to spend the winter in the mountains
1. I am patient and encouraging and I want you to have fun achieving your goals.
2. The psychological aspect of skiing is a big interest of mine. So, whether it’s wanting to gain confidence or improving technique I’ll work with you to achieve that.
3. My love of learning means I have a head full of useful (and some not so useful) information so I love to chat about all sorts, whatever interests you, and if I don’t know something I’ll go and find out!
