Private snowboarding in Zermatt, built around you. Your first turns, sorting out that heel edge, or a full day finding the best runs on the mountain with someone who actually knows them.
Book a private lesson and you get an instructor whose whole focus is you, and a lesson shaped around what you actually want from it.
Brand new to it? We’ll get you off the lift, onto your edges, and linking your first proper turns without the usual day-one carnage.
Already ride well? Then this is less a lesson, more a local showing you around. The runs for the morning, which lifts to skip when it’s busy, where the snow stays good after a snowfall, and the long way round to Italy for lunch.
Your instructor will quietly sharpen up your riding as you go, if that’s what you want. Or not. Entirely up to you.
A half day is the sweet spot for a lot of people. Good for a first proper go at the sport, or for chipping away at one thing: getting comfortable on your heel edge, linking turns without skidding out, or tidying up a trick before you take it back to the park.
Morning sessions get you onto freshly groomed pistes before the crowds. Afternoons work well if you’d rather warm up on your own first, then bring in an instructor to push things on.
A full day is how you really get to know the mountain. Zermatt is big, the lift system takes some learning, and there are long flat traverses that catch out anyone on a board who doesn’t know the way around. Spend the day with someone who does and you’ll see far more of it, with a lot less faff.
We’ll string together the runs that flow well on a board, time the lifts to stay ahead of the queues, and stop somewhere good for lunch. The trip over the border to Cervinia in Italy is worth doing at least once. We’ll work on your riding through the day if you want, or just ride. No limit full days mean you pick when you start and finish. Go until your legs have had enough.
