Skiing with two inexperienced kids isn’t the easiest thing to do, but I’m really grateful that my parents put up with me and my little brother 20 years ago and introduced us to this incredible world.

I’ve been on skis for as long as I can remember, probably since I took my first steps, and it has always been a source of happiness and a safe place for me. Every school break, we drove our car to the mountains, and I always looked forward to going to ski school, playing in the park, and exploring the woods, everything you can imagine doing on skis.

So last year, I started my career as a ski instructor with the goal of sharing the same excitement I’ve always had (and still have) for skiing.

I mean can you imagine a more beautiful thing? So this winter, I’ll be trading Sweden’s slopes for the real mountains in Zermatt, and I’m really excited to rock these mountains with you!

In the summer

Since you can’t find snow on the slopes in the summer (at least not in Sweden), I put my skis in the garage and switch to hiking shoes and a bike.

The mountains are not just beautiful with white powder on them, they are lovely during the summer as well. I truly enjoy going on hikes to take in the green landscapes and breathtaking views. And when I’m in the mood for something more adventurous,

I opt for downhill or cross-country biking, a new hobby I’ve fallen in love with. So don’t be surprised if I bring it up when we meet. Mountains for the win, but I also love the warmth of the sun and the fishes in the ocean.

Every summer, I make sure to book a trip to a destination where I can enjoy the water through snorkeling or scuba diving, and where I can relax in the sun with a good book.

So, if you can’t find me in the mountains, you’ll likely spot me by the ocean.

My Zermatt insider tip is:
Ski the yellow runs, best runs in the resort and there’s no one on them.
If I wasn't a Summit instructor:

If I were to choose another thing to lay my time and energy in, it would probably be in some kind of education for a more boring and basic job… however that can wait for now.

3 reasons to ski with me:

1. I will always greet you with a big and enthusiastic smile.

2. The goal of all my lessons is to create a happy and safe environment where you can improve your skills.

3. I love chatting, especially in the lifts. So if you don’t have any questions for me, I’ll probably “nag holes in your head” (as we say in Sweden) with all my questions for you.
