We put together ‘Summit Experiences’ to make it as easy as possible to try something new. Whether that is your first time skiing, you want to get a helicopter to Italy, or have one of our photographers spend the day with you.
You have heard the stories and seen the videos of the utter joy of powder. Your expert skier friends tell you it’s what skiing is all about, it’s why they ski… but how to you make the move from a good piste skier to venturing into the unknown?
We totally agree, we love off piste skiing, the calm away from the busy slopes, the incredible snow (sometimes) and the challenge of learning something new… but yes, we understand the move can be daunting. Is it safe, is it as easy as it looks?
Don’t worry, the Summit off piste instructors are here to guide you through it. We will meet you in the office to take a look at the safety equipment (a transceiver, shovel and probe are induced in the experience price) and check out your skis… it’s worth having a pair of bigger skis as you move off piste. If necessary we can head down to Bayard rental so you have more underfoot. Then we will head up the mountain and get into the off piste, chatting about ski technique, terrain and safety off piste.
