As a born and bred Kiwi, my love of adventure comes hard-wired in. Ever since my first sight of the mountains I knew I wanted to explore them. I have spent years roaming the ankle-deep powder of the New Zealand alps, and love the thrills of skiing, touring, alpine climbing and everything in-between. In blue skies or blizzards, I’ll always be keen to get into the fine details of technical skiing or the adrenaline rush of a big-mountain line. When I’m not skiing, you can find me searching for the nearest frozen waterfall to climb!

I enjoy sailing, surfing, rock climbing and anything that takes me somewhere beautiful – provided I’m not back in New Zealand for another winter!
With hundreds of kilometres of pisted runs, Zermatt is a huge resort. Try to explore as much as you can and find your favourite spots!
I would continue to pursue academic research!
1. I am always looking out for gnarly terrain and fun adventures. If you love pushing your limits with a new challenge then look no further. If not, you’re sure to be entertained with wild climbing stories.
2. I have taught everyone from adults to 1 year olds and from the most energetic thrill-seekers to the relaxed day-dreamers. No matter your personality, I’ll be able to match your style.
3. I have degree in theoretical physics, so there is always something to talk about or a rabbit hole to go down. My personal favourite is why dark energy shouldn’t exist!
