Oskar Lacey

I started skiing at 3 in Sweden and now have skied all over the world. Including China, Japan, Korea, UK, Sweden, France and most recently Switzerland. I love sharing my experiences and by becoming instructor I get to teach and continue doing this.

I also have a degree in motorsport engineering and currently trying to figure out how skiing and my degree can mix. Will get there one day but for now I get to do what I love, Skiing and being outside in the mountains.

My goal is to make you enjoy skiing as much as I do, after all you are here to have fun!

In the summer

I usually tinker with cars and motorbikes with my friends, travel and spend as much time as I can outdoors. However, I am always looking for new things to do and things to experience so I have no idea where I will be next summer.

My Zermatt insider tip is:

Having lived in China for a long time, my favourite cuisine is Asian. If you are lucky enough to be here in Zermatt on a Monday. Manud a restaurant in the centre of town has a noodle night which takes me back home to China!

If you are not here on a Monday but need somewhere else amazing to eat, try Chez L’ami Sami. You won’t think twice.

If I wasn't a Summit instructor:

I have a degree in motorsport engineering which I plan on utilizing in the future. So id be hopefully in a race team in Moto-GP or Rally. Or at least working my towards that. Then going onto in the future building my own racing company or engineering business.

3 reasons to ski with me:

1. Skiing and Fun come hand in hand. Ill make sure that it stays that way in my lessons.

2. My focus is you, Ill help you in anyway I can on the slopes. As an instructor, helping you reach your skiing goals is as exciting for me as it is for you.

3. I live for learning new things, I cant wait to hear all about you and your lives. I hope to become your friend not just your instructor.
